Who are you people? What's with this Halo Wars jazz!?

HaloWarsCentral, or HWC for short, is a community built fansite devoted to the upcoming Halo Wars RTS game for the Xbox 360 due for release sometime later in 2008. Halo Wars is a real time strategy game based in Bungie's Halo Universe, in which the humans wage war against the convenant, only with an overhead view for you to control the action from! Halo Wars is being developed by Ensemble studios, the same company which bought the Age of Empires series to the PC in the 90s, and who are now making their first console-based strategy debut with the Halo Wars title.

On this site you'll find videos, screenshots, interviews, FAQ and a forum populated by engaged and friendly Halo Wars fans. We're open to news submissions, competition ideas, your opinions and content or even just those looking to chat. Get involved!

When's Halo Wars being released?

For now at least, your guess is as good as ours. We're all waiting for an official word on the subject from Ensemble or Microsoft. A number of game stores and game review sites will speculate on the subject, but you can't be sure until you hear directly from Either Ensemble or Microsoft. You could always check here too, we'll be shouting about it when we know!

At the moment, the general feeling is that Halo Wars will be released sometime this year. That's all we know for now.

Can I have a moderator position on your forums?

Keep active, be good, help out when you can and you'll be rewarded. We don't just hand out power-positions on request. Besides, they should be about the willingness to help, not the power!
